A kiddush cup is a Jewish wine goblet that is used to sanctify the Sabbath or a festival. It is filled with wine or grape juice and held in the right hand during a blessing that acknowledges the holiness of the day. The word kiddush means sanctification in Hebrew. After the blessing, everyone present shares the wine. The kiddush cup may also be used at the end of the Sabbath for the havdalah ceremony. This kiddush cup features the Star of David on one side and can be engraved on the opposite side. Available in a satin or bright finish.
